The day after I landed in Lunglei, my uncle invited me to an Advance Christmas function at his school Baptist Higher Secondary School. He teaches there and currently serves as the Principal. Besides, a couple of staff there are regulars at misual.com, a 7 year old blog I helped founded, I could meet them.
When I reached the venue the show was being started. The dutiful ushers escorted me to the front row. My uncle was about to start the Principal’s message. He asked me to stand up as he introduced me to the huge hall full room of crowd. He even said things I am very flattered by.
There were solos, choir, dances, skit and few speeches. Even an awesome performance by the staff band. I had an entertaining forenoon that day.
These boys put on a great show, awesome dance.
